So basically, Deadshot throws his gun in the air, does a bunch of punches, then looks up to reveal the gun hasn't even made a full rotation yet.

The first thing we're going to want to do is determine the amount by which time is slowed.

Watching the video frame by frame it seems that it takes the gun 0.7 s to make a full rotation. Comparing the last frame we see before Deadshot starts his beat down and the first frame we see after that ends shows that the gun rotated about 315 degrees. Likely a little less. Some division reveals that this means 0.61 seconds passed during Deadshot's beat down. Comparing that to the apparent time of 6.52 s means that Deadshot was moving around 10.6x faster than it appeared here.

So now we need some apparent speed to scale Deadshot off of.

We see Deadshot throw a 90 degree punch in 0.1 s right at the beginning of his attack. Since Deadshot is 1.85 m tall we can scale his arm, and thus punch distance, from here.

Looking at this model Deadshot is 442 px tall, while his arm is 186 px long. This makes his arm 0.42x as long as he is tall, and thus 0.777 m in length. Now we can find the distance of the punch, the apparent speed it was moving at, and then multiply it to get his actual speed.


C = (2)(pi)(r)

  • pi = 3.14
  • r = 0.777 m

(2)(3.14)(0.777) = 4.88 m

Divide that by 4, since the punch was 90 degrees, and we get 1.22 m.

v = d/t

  • d = 1.22 m
  • t = 0.1 s

1.22/0.1 = 12.2 m/s

Multiply this by 10.6 for the time dilation factor...

(12.2)(10.6) = 129 m/s

And keep in mind, this is likely a lowball. Deadshot would be pulling off insane acceleration here, especially with how much he was moving. His top speed is likely quite a bit higher, but I'd reckon no more than 200 m/s.
